A Ghost Enchanted in a Bottle |
Registration and further information
| A Ghost Enchanted in a Bottle. Among the roots of an old tree there lies a mossy bottle. No one has opened it for a very long time. What is inside it? The fairy-tale says that a ghost lives there. How to release him safely and deal with? Does an ally live there or maybe an enemy? How to take opportunities and how to recognise them? How to make one’s life full and rich? How to taste it with joy? How to derive strength even from difficulties and obstacles? Dreams and body symptoms, relational difficulties, accidents and unexpected events are most frequently perceived as obstacles on our way. When treated properly they turn out to be the source of essential information without which our life is doomed to one-sidedness and incompleteness. They show us both the direction of changes and means enabling to carry them out. Taking into account and developing these clues enriches our life, revealing its deep structure, richness and mysteriousness, leading towards the fullness. The Process Oriented Psychology, we will refer to, was developed by Arnold Mindell. It constitutes an overall interdisciplinary theory comprising the set of effective procedures that enable to understand and support an individual and group transformation. It stems from C.G. Jung’s psychology, the information theory and the systems theory. It draws inspiration from, among other things, modern physics, Taoism and shamanism. The workshop will take place nearby Warsaw, the accommodation in a beautiful wood house, with a river close and bonfires at nights. The Work, Creativity and Fulfilment. What to do in order to work and earn for a living in a satisfactory and fulfilling way? What to do in order to wake up in the morning willingly and with curiosity? How to find the source of inspiration inside oneself? If you pose such questions it means that surely there are answers to them. How to find them? The unexpected events, relational problems, dreams and body symptoms may be the source of important information. However, one has to be able to reach the information and realize in life the wisdom included in it. Only then can you freely use your abilities and take opportunities the world provides you with.

Six Gates Dreams, body symptoms, repeatable relational difficulties, unexpected events, usually perceived as obstacles on our way, when treated properly, may be the source of important information, without which our life is destined to one-sidedness and incompleteness. They show us both the direction of changes and means enabling to carry them out. Taking into account and developing these clues enriches our life, revealing its deep structure, richness and mysteriousness, leading towards the fullness. During the workshop we will acquire both theoretically and practically the tools of effective working with oneself and others, and we will be discovering and fulfilling ourselves. This ‘process work’ (as it is usually called) does not focus on searching reasons but rather aims at discovering the meaning of what is happening to us. The invitation to the meetings is addressed both to the beginners and students of process work. It is also directed to people interested in their own development, to students of psychology and related studies, to psychologists, pedagogues, social workers and to all those who wish to enrich their lives, enter some new spheres of experience, gain new or improve already known abilities and meta-abilities. Draw from the Source. The workshop is dedicated to awakening and developing creative abilities, invention and sensitivity. Due to the different techniques of ‘process work’ (body work, composing fairy tales, authentic movement, creative drawing, role playing, etc.), it develops the ability to allow and cultivate what is ‘unintentional’, and which often was and is the source of discoveries and the inspiration for the great creators of art and civilisation. Dreams and body symptoms, problems in relationships and unexpected events, if developed and integrated, may be the gates leading to the infinite source of creative impulses. It is the quest for joy, satisfaction from life and the sense of fulfillment. It includes developing the abilities to deal with difficulties and restraints that prevent us from using our abilities and potential freely.
